Invisalign® First

Invisalign® treatment isn’t just for teens and adults. In fact, there is a special Invisalign® treatment made just for younger children (with a mix of Baby teeth and adult teeth), and it’s called Invisalign® First.

What is Invisalign® First?

Invisalign® First is an Invisalign® treatment adapted specifically for children ages 7-11. The custom Invisalign® First aligners are designed to help your child’s jaws grow in proper alignment, which helps to make room for their developing adult teeth to fit in.

Invisalign® First aligners are made from a smooth plastic that is as very comfortable. Best yet, the aligners are removable, so your child doesn’t need to change their diet or toothbrushing habits during treatment. It’s much simpler than fixed braces to keep on top of oral hygiene without any real restrictions on what foods you can eat.

Does my child need Invisalign® First treatment?

Not all children need early interventive treatment with Invisalign® First, but it can be very beneficial in stopping orthodontic problems in their tracks. It can save you a lot of time and money on treatment in your child's teenage years by fixing misalignments early while we can still get the most out of the growth of the jaws and face. Early correction of crowding or a maligned bite while your child is still developing may even mean no further treatment is needed once all the adult teeth erupt in the teenage years.
