The teenage years are the perfect age for orthodontic treatment. Because a teen’s jaws are still growing, this is the most efficient time to align their teeth. It’s also an important time for social development, and teens will love having a straighter smile in all their photos.
At Beam Orthodontics, we have multiple braces options for teens. We offer fixed metal braces, clear braces, and even discreet Invisalign® clear aligners. Our braces options are sleek, comfortable and super efficient - so your teen won’t spend any longer in braces than necessary.
If your teen is under the age of 18, they may be eligible for treatment on the NHS. The NHS does not cover cosmetic treatments - only treatment deemed necessary for the health of your teen. Eligibility is determined through the Index of Orthodontic Treatment Need (IOTN).
If your teen qualifies for NHS treatment, be aware that there are fewer treatment options than with private treatment. Our NHS treatment hours are from 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
